of Maumelle/Little Rock, AR
October 3, 1995 - September 6, 2016
Cole Robert Pangburn, 20, of Little Rock/Maumelle went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 due to injuries sustained in a scooter accident. He was born in Arlington, Texas on October 3, 1995 to Tom Pangburn of Maumelle, Arkansas and Lynn Pangburn of Little Rock, Arkansas.
He was a student at the University of Arkansas in the College of Business, Rush Chair of the Sigma Nu Fraternity, and employee at The Blessings Golf Club in Fayetteville. Cole was a 2014 graduate of Pulaski Academy, where he was an All-State golfer and Bruin Student Section Leader. He was also an active member of New Life Church. Cole loved life, had an abundance of friends, was quick witted, and had a contagious persistent optimism.
He is survived by his loving parents; along many cousins, aunts, an uncle and grandmother.
Cole was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Bob Carlson of Dallas, Texas and James E. Pangburn of North Palm Beach, Florida and his grandmother, Janet G. Pangburn.
A celebration of his very full life will be held at 12:00 P.M., Saturday, September 10, 2016 at New Life Church, 8000 Crystal Hill Road, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72118. Visitation is 10:00 A.M., prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted for ''Pang'' Helmet Safety Program. All donations may be made in honor of Cole Pangburn to New Life Church.
So very sorry to read of the tragic loss of your Son.
I wish to share comfort from the Bible at this sad time.
The Bible teaches that one day in the near future our Creator, Jehovah God, by means of the ransom sacrifice of his son, Jesus, will reunite us with our dead loved ones by means of a resurrection right here on earth in paradise conditions that will be filled with peace, happiness, and perfect health for everyone. (John 5:28,29; Psalm 37:9-11,29; Isaiah 33:24)
As you read the above texts from your Bible, may the wonderful hope they give us, along with loving memories bring you a measure of comfort during this most difficult time.
Lynn,
I am so saddened for the loss of your son, Cole. My heart goes out to you and your family at this time of sorrow. Just know,
"The Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your needs in parched places, and make your bones strong; and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters never fail." Isaiah 58-11
God Bless You and your Family
Tom & Lynn: So sorry for the loss of Cole. We have a prayer that we want to share with you during this time.
A Blessing for the Sorrowful

It is so difficult to comprehend the sudden loss of a young person. None of us knows God plan but certainly God needed Cole more in Heaven than we needed him here on earth. And so we trust in His plan. Cole and several of his fraternity brothers began my Environmental Science class a few short weeks ago. I assure you Cole will be missed and my thoughts and prayers are with his family, his fraternity brothers, and all who are grieving this loss.
Lynn And Tom, i am so very sorry for your loss! I met Cole only a few times but certainly knew he was your heart and soul!! He will be forever and I hope you find peace and healing through your grief! Hugs and Prayers , Lisa
