Ronald Dale Prasse, 78, of Little Rock passed away on July 12, 2016. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on February 21, 1938 to Norvin and Irene Prasse.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents and sister, Sharon Lee Prasse. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; children, Brian C. Prasse (Beth) of St. Louis, Missouri, Adam T. Prasse of Little Rock, Dr. Meredith Dilley (Dr. Josh), Angela White of Oakland, California, Amy Elizabeth Grammer (Russell) of Cape Giradreau, Missouri; stepdaughters, Joy Wilcox (Brent) of Maumelle and Kristi Crum (Ben) of Gladstone, New Jersey; ten grandchildren, John, Luke and Sarah Grammer, Tommy Prasse, Henry and Roan White, Carson and Conner Crum and Chase and Brandon Wilcox.

Ron graduated from Lutheran High School in St. Louis and from Washington University in St. Louis with a BSBA and MBA. He also attended Columbia University, Senior Executive Program at Arden house in Harriman, NY and Rutgers University School of Banking in New Jersey. He was a lecturer in banking at Southern Methodist University School of Banking and at Washington University School of Business.

He was a retired captain in the United States Army and his business career was long and varied. Ron started working on the family farm at a young age and loved that work. He started delivering drugs at age 11 on his bicycle and was a soda jerk at the local drug store. He had several jobs during high school and upon entering college, he worked at Stix Baer and Fuller as an assistant to a professor-consultant. He was soon working on his own doing profitability studies within the store. Ron continued working there and after a couple of years he left retailing to work in the finance field joining a securities investment company in St. Louis. A couple of years later he joined First National Bank in St. Louis where he rose to senior vice president and head of commercial banking. This was his favorite profession.

Always wanting to be an entrepreneur he purchased Atlas Plastics in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and worked with them for several years, before selling it in 1986. He owned Gideon Anderson Lumber Co., The Resin Exchange, Midland Optical Co. and owned and operated Arkansas Cutting Tool, which made high speed cutting tools and drill bits. His last venture was Digital Security Monitoring and Arkansas Protection Services in Little Rock.

Ron was on several boards including Missouri Athletic Club, Arts and Education Council, Lutheran Hospital, Lutheran Charities, Children's Home Society of Missouri, First National Bank of Cape Girardeau, and Pulaski Academy in Little Rock.

His interests were his farm in Caledonia, Missouri, fishing, hunting, guns, running and working out. He also enjoyed being a pilot, martial arts and boating.

Private memorial service will be Friday, July 15, 2016. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org

(28). "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice (29) and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment".
