Carolyn Sue Freyaldenhoven, 76, of Little Rock, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2016. She was born on March 24, 1940, to the late James Harrison Taylor and Clara Parker Taylor in Keystone, Oklahoma.

Carolyn was the owner-operator of A Fitting Image in Little Rock and Carol's Bridal in Russellville. She was also a member of Highland Valley United Methodist Church in Little Rock.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, Carl Freyaldenhoven; four sons, Bill (Cyndi) Hovis of Charlotte, North Carolina, Allen Hovis of Russellville, Arkansas, Jim (Kathy) Wilson of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Hung Nguyen of St. Louis, Missouri; three daughters, Nita (David) Fowler of Russellville, Arkansas, Nia (Doug) Cross of Orange, California, and Deanna (Rhett) Smith of Little Rock, Arkansas; two sisters, Lou (Jim) Price of Glasgow, Kentucky, and Mary Jo (Wayne) Cassidy of Jackson, Ohio; one brother, Wallace (Debra) Taylor of Guntersville, Alabama; fifteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Robert Wilson; infant daughter, Lisa Marie Wilson; one brother and one sister.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Highland Valley United Methodist Church, 15524 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas with burial following at Appleton Cemetery at 12:30 P.M. in Appleton, Arkansas. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Friday at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas (501-224-8300). I started working for Carol in 1985 she taught me to do cakes and I worked for her many years even after she got out of the cake business. She was a great friend. Sorry I didn't make it to the funeral but just read the obits and saw this. She will be miss. Prayers for all the family

I remember Carol as a great mom. I took cake decorating class from her back in the late 70's. She was a hard worker and very talented. Lifting you and your family up to the Lord in prayer.
