Cecil A. Smith, retired partner of the CPA firm Baird, Kurtz and Dobson, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2015. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church, The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, The Arkansas Society of Certified Public Accountants, a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, and a veteran of World War II. He was the son of the late Marvin H. Smith and Grace M. Smith. Preceded in death by sister, Mable Jean Smith.
Funeral will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, September 18 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel, 13801 Chenal Pkwy., Little Rock, (501) 224-8300. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Little Rock.

Cecil Smith was a great person and Accountant.
During the period that I was working for BKD, Cecil Smith instructed me on how to perform my duties as an accountant.
I enjoyed driving his car when we would travel to different clients across Arkansas.
He was a gentle and kind man.
