I am very sorry to her of her passing even though she was 99 years young. Whenever I would call her or talk to her she was always out and about in her garden. It was a beautiful one in jersey as well as Arkansas. She was a big part of my childhood and molded me in many ways. I will always be grateful to her for teaching me about nature and about art. I remember many times during the seasons sitting in front of the picture window, drawing with pastels or drawing with pencils. It was done on card board or any other recycle to be put to use. She recycled everything possible. She was truly an amazing woman. I only wished that someone from ClydE's family would have let us know she passed. Rest in peace Penny but I know you are with Clyde and creating a new garden! 💜💚❤️💙💛

i count is such a blessing to have had a wonderful neighbor who was always so kind. Ms Penny would tell me about her plants and trees-what they were and where she got them. She really enjoyed when my granddaughters came for visit. She would talk and share with them like she knew them their whole life. She was indeed a special lady.
