Robert R. Barker Jr., 71, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away Monday, October 6, 2014; Bob was born on November 8, 1942, in Dallas, Texas, to the late Robert R. Barker Sr. and Christie Matthews Barker. Bob worked for Spacelabs for over 30 years. He was a member of Fellowship Bible Church, and was president of Rock Riders Chapter of the Christian Motorcycle Association. Bob was an enthusiastic outdoorsman who enjoyed life and being with his family and friends.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 30 years Bonnie, five daughters; Kim (William) Benson, of Little Rock, Keri Khaimsky, of Lonoke, Teri Harris, of Lonoke, Frankie Harrison, of Little Rock, and Katherine Hopper, of Little Rock; one granddaughter, and five grandsons, two sisters; Connie Manzer, of Hot Springs Village,
and Joan ( Karl) Walker, of Benton.
Bob is preceded in death by brother, Ronnie Barker, and daughter, Kelly Barker.
Visitation will be at 10:00 with funeral services at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 10, 2014, at Fellowship Bible Church, Little Rock. Burial services will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Arrangements by Roller-Chenal Funeral Home 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock (501) 224-8300.

We were most saddened to learn today of Bob's passing. Bob was giving and selfless and will be remembered for generously giving of his time to others. We remember the good times we enjoyed together including Angel Fire and Taos. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

We loved Bob so very much! Please know we are praying for you and your precious family. I am so thankful that we the hope in Jesus that one day we will be reunited with our loved ones that have passed away. What a glorious day it will be!

I found almost every picture I made of Bob. They are on Facebook . Bonnie Sue and I love you and Bob always offered me a helping hand when needed with a big hand. We always greeted with a hug.

Through the years with ABATE D-1 I always felt your sincere love and respect, and I always gave it straight back to you, my friend. You were always the encourager when times were difficult and gave me wise council. Be at peace with God, my friend, because you ended your journey in love and faith.

Bob is dancing with the saints and praising God! I didn't see Bob a lot, but he always was thrilled to see me again. He made everybody feel welcome.
