Heard of your passing not long ago. Oh the fun we had in high school. My condolences to all your loved ones. You were one of a kind. I think of you every time I hear a Chicago song playing.
I was shocked and saddened to just learn of Gerry's passing. I worked for Gerry in the Fayetteville Paul Bunyan store years ago, and also had the opportunity to work in the Little Rock store on a few occasions with Tommy Eisenman and Frank Gibson...When Gerry would come up to Fayetteville, we would always go out for dinner and drinks; he was a great guy to work for, and always an absolute blast to be around!
My dad, Jerry Davis, who passed away in 2005, was a longtime customer of Paul Bunyan's in Little Rock and I know he thought very highly of Gerry as well. My deepest and sincere condolences to the family!
Really missed you this football season.... The guys were all telling Gerry Booe stories while watching Arkansas play the other night. RIP my friend..

A long ago friend from Pulaski Heights Elementary (we were Valentine King and Queen in 6th? grade?) going on to Henderson Jr High offers her condolences to the family of Gerry. Being that our last names had the same beginning letter (Baber/Booe) he most often sat behind me in classes. He had an infectious laugh and a great wit, and I was often laughing over something he said. God Bless
We loved Gerry.
I remember Gerry from Henderson Jr High and Hall High. I had many classes with him and he always brought a laugh in a dreary day. He will be greatly missed by many.
I only knew Gerry for a short time but it was a pleasure to hear him say "I will be your best renter ever!"
He was so saddened by the death of his elder son. I know that they are both back together again and finally he has some peace. May they both RIP together.
Too many good time Gerry. Rest in peace my friend. PA
My deepest condolences to the Booe family. I was a very long time customer and friend. Booe always made everyone feel welcome at the store and between he and Tommy, you could never leave without hearing a ton of jokes! His laughter and upbeat personality were always present and he truly seemed to have a blast at everything he did. God speed my friend!
RIP my SAE brother and friend.
We are so very sorry about Gerry. We often shopped in his store and he was always so very helpful and pleasant. Our children also attended school together. He is missed.

My sincere condolences to the Booe family. I knew Gerry from working at Harry's Market back in the 70's. I still remember his infectious laugh and voice that could resonant over a crowd of a hundred. Loved working with him and his family and remember all the good times we had. RIP my friend.

RIP Gerry! We will miss your smiles and laughter. We are praying for you and your family!
Just received a call from my sister in Little Rock informing me of Gerry's passing. Gerry and I were best friends when I lived in Little Rock 1969-1974. I worked for Gerry's dad, Harry at the meat market and Gerry and I were in school together. Over the years I have thought often of Gerry and wondered about how he was doing as I am sure he thought of me. Sad that we did not stay in touch. I am sorry we did not. He was a good friend. I am sure he will be missed. My condolences to the family.
Dear Family,
We are so saddened to learn of Gerry's passing. We go back many years ago from the time he opened Paul Bunyan's to shopping at his Dad's grocery store. Those were certainly the good old days. We enjoyed visiting with Gerry and hearing his laugh and seeing his big smile. He was always such a friendly and out-going person. He will be missed by many.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Sincerely,
Carolyn and Jim Manning

So sorry for your loss but there are the memories.
I have known the Booe family for years. The Booes lived on one corner of Pierce Street, McMahons on another and my family, the Johnsons, lived on another. Vicky, Linda and I ran around together. Harry's Market, Vica's and Gerry Mike will never be forgotten.
Jimmy, I am so sorry for your family loss. He will always be little Jerry Mike to me. I have such good memories of all your family. Vicki was my best friend and you and Jerry Mike bugged the fool out of us. God be with you and all of you are in my prayers.
