To Nelda and Family:
It was an honor to have known Dwayne and a privilege to have shared some good times with him while attending Ferndale Assembly. Along with his radiant smile, he always had a minute to listen to a fishing story or just inquire on how life was going. The few years I spent around Dwayne, he was a fine example through his dedication and compassion he had for both church and family. He never spent much time in an idle position; going from greeting folks at the front door then off to the stage to sing an offering song. Dwayne- Thanks for sharing your life with me.
"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint." Isaiah 40:31

Nelda, Dwayne Jr., Chris, and Anthony,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Dwayne was a very fine Christian man, and a friend to all who met him. He always made me laugh whenever I was around him. It was fun seeing him on Facebook during the past year. Nelda, I always enjoyed hearing him, Jackie, and you sing at church.
I know the hole in your heart is huge. May our Lord be your ever present healing companion.

Love and Prayers,
Gina and Terry

Nelda - there will be an empty spot in your heart and life that no one else can fill but God is right there beside you every step of the way. Dewayne's laughter and smile will continue with you through time easing the loneliness. I'll always remember that easy smile and gentle nature. You two were a "couple" and your singing together was an inspiration. Beautiful. Great memories of you and your family. God's blessings upon you.

Dear Sis. Nelda, words can't express the sadness we have in the passing of our loved one - Dwayne - your beloved husband. Thinking of the first marriage Bro. Graves performed was for you and Dwayne. He tied the knot so good to have lasted all these years.
His mom's families, yours and Dwaynes, and others included us in activities as though we were family. We have shared happy and times of sadness. But one day soon, those of us who are ready to meet the Lord are going to have a happy reunion day. I can't wait for that day. I have almost more on the other side then I do here.
Praying for family. If we can help, call us. God bless...Bro & Sis Paul Graves

“I have hope toward God . . . that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” - Acts 24:15. God has given Jesus the power to raise the dead. He can bring the dead back to life again. In addition, Jesus promises that he will do this soon under the rule of God’s kingdom. What a happy time that will be! “Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.”—John 5:28, 29. . I'm very sorry for your lose. May God's words seek to comfort you and your family. Sincerely, Meryl
