Louise F. Maertens Prickett Knight
June 17, 1923 - April 27, 2012

Louise F. Maertens Prickett Knight, 88, of Little Rock, went to be with her Lord on Friday, April 27, 2012. She was born June 17, 1923, in Benton, Arkansas, a daughter of the late August H. and Freda P. Storch Maertens. She was baptized, confirmed and married at Zion Lutheran Church of Avilla. She was a member of First Lutheran Church of Little Rock, Lutheran Women’s Business Club, and Lutheran Women’s Missionary League. She was a devoted mother, wife, and “Grandma Louise”. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Horace Prickett, Sr., and Felix Knight, and her brother, Johney Maertens.

She is survived by two sons, Horace Prickett, Jr. (Phyllis), of Benton, and Randy Prickett (Carolyn) of Little Rock; three grandchildren, Rusty Prickett (LeeAnne), Sarah Prickett, and Matthew August Prickett; three great-grandchildren, Milli Louise Prickett, Russell Yates Prickett, and Sarah Beth Prickett; sister, Jeanette Irby (Hugh), of Benton; brother, Robert Maertens (Tamara), of Benton; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Sunday, April 29, 2012, at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, (501)224-8300.

Funeral Service will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 30, 2012, at First Lutheran Church of Little Rock, with Reverend Ron Bacic officiating. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park, Alexander, Arkansas.
