Curtis David “Dave” Conner, 91, of Little Rock, died April 25, 2012. Born in Carbondale, IL, Dave was reared in Little Rock, which was his home for ninety years. A veteran of WWII, he served as an army air force pilot in the South Pacific. He also served for a time in the Middle East. He worked for the Arkansas Highway Transportation Department for nearly thirty years, retiring in 1987. He was a member of the WindSong Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife of forty-three years, Lee Conner, and a host of friends, including the “McDonald’s coffee club.”
Visitation will be at 9:00 a.m., Monday, April 30, 2012 at WindSong Church of Christ, with the funeral service to follow at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, (501)224-8300.
