Eric P. Bell

Eric P. Bell, 46, of Little Rock died Tuesday, November 3, 2009 from Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. He was born on June 15, 1963 at Fort Smith, Arkansas, the son of Melvyn Bell and Anne Meek Bell. He graduated from Pulaski Academy in 1981 and from Rhodes College in Memphis.

He loved attending his daughter’s basketball games, cross country and track at Arkansas Baptist.

Eric was preceded in death by his parents, Melvyn Bell and Anne Meek Bell Werner.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Deborah Coleman Bell; a daughter, Erin Bell of Little Rock; two half-sisters, Megyn Bell of Fayetteville and Kim Wagner of Virginia Beach, Virginia; an uncle, Robert Meek of Ft. Smith and an aunt, Sallie Hunter of Point Clair, Alabama. He loved his dogs, Lilly and Roxie, who stayed by his side during his illness.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 6, 2009 at the Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel (501)224-8300 with Brother Ed Simpson officiating. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.

The family would like to say a special thanks to Dr. Brad Baltz, Dr. Bart Barlogie and all the nurses as well and the Myeloma Institute for their compassion and care.
