Billie Jo Knabe

Billie Jo Knabe, 80, of Little Rock, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 29, 2009. She was born on April 8, 1929 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who had a special love for poetry, music, books, nature and family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orine Knabe, Jr.; daughter, Jeffrey Brewer, and brother, Seth Thomas.

She is survived by her two sons, Michael Knabe (Belinda), and Kevin Knabe; four daughters Ronda Crossland (Dean), Glynis Dudley (Robert), Rina Brint, and Scarlett Ray (Perri); 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two sisters Wanda Lou Koon and Shirley Eslick; and two brothers Glen Thomas and Jerry Thomas.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 2, 2009, at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel, (501)224-8300, with Mr. Chuck Monan officiating. Interment will be at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
