Lucille, you meant a whole lot to me....your quirks were the most beautiful things I ever saw in such a confident woman. You stood up for what you believed in and I will always love you. I think of you often...whenever I see certain things or leave things for you. You were an honest friend and I am so grateful to have known you. I miss the late nights talking and the fascinating conversations you were often the leader of. I miss your smile, your laugh....your beautiful, intricate brain. Your soul was free and you made being alive fun and worthwhile. I wish I had known your mother, from the posts on here I can tell she is a wonderful woman, I can tell where you got your qualities. Again...you are missed and loved.

Lou (as I so often called you which you hated)! Words can not express the sadness I feel to know that you are no longer here. I will never forget that special day God placed you into my life. From the time I moved into the apartments, across from you and Ms. Karen, you welcomed me with open arms and made my 1st time on my own one I will never forget. The day you and your mom moved away, I felt a piece of me moved away too. Although we didn’t see each other as often, we still remained very close friends. We are as different as night and day, but had a special bond some would never understand. I am going to forever cherish all those late night talks, going to eat Chinese whenever I wanted, trips to Wal-mart for absolutely nothing, and the infamous “stoop incident” among many more. I want you to know I love you very much and you will always have a special place in my heart!

Ms. Karen! There are times like these when we look for strength and guidance and ask why. God always know best and he will get you through this difficult time! When I heard the news I asked over and over again did they have the right person because it was so unbelievable to me. I want you know that Lou could not have been blessed with a better mother!! She loves you so very much and will be missed by many!! I will continue to keep you and your family in my prayers!

Love always,

Kristal

You and your family will be in my thoughts now and in the months ahead. I only knew Lucy for a few months. During those months we had several long conversations. The Lucy I got to know was very kind, caring, soft hearted, soft spoken and truly was a beautiful soul. I know your hearts will be sad for many days, months and years to come. Take the good memories and treasure them. For they too will last for days, months, and years in the furture.

I am unable to make the services, but your family will be in my thoughts. I will hold a moment of silence on Friday for Lucy and her family.

To Lucie's Mom and family: Lucie was truly a special person who touched my life the short time I knew her. The sparkle in her eyes, her infectious laughter and her unique sense of humor... she was a blessing. She was fearless and I will always think of her when I'm faced with challenges too large for myself. Thank you for giving us Lucie. I will never forget her.
