James Edward Lovette, 74, of Center Ridge, passed away January 29, 2018. He was born May 20, 1943 in North Little Rock to the Late Elick and Gertrude Lovette. James worked for The Southern Company for years and then was a self employed mechanic. He loved being outdoors; especially hunting and fishing. James was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Louise (Ernest) Bowden, and brother, Herbert (Helen) Lovette.

James is survived by his wife Margaret A. Lovette of Center Ridge, sons, Jimmy (Amanda) Lovette of Wooster, and Jonathan (Jodie) Gray of Concord, daughters, Shonna (Richard) Battles of Greenbrier, Shanon (Brad) Caskey of Anchorage, Alaska, Tammy Mobbs of Clinton, Heather (Nick Vetor) Holland of Guy, two grandchildren, Amber Battles Turner and Sara Battles, one great grandbaby Turner due in August 2018, brother, Floyd ''Buddy'' (Jeanette) Lovette of Van Buren, John McCauley, who he loved like a son, and many more family and friends.

Memorial Service will be 10:00AM Thursday, February 1st, 2018 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier.

this family is prescious and holds a very special place in my heart. Due to some health problems of my own and unexpected doctor's appointments today I'm unable to attend his memorial he knows though and so does Miss Margaret that I love them with all of my heart I will always be there for you little mama I'm just a phone call away you know he's in heaven smiling down at us now
