George S. Keathley, 85 of Enola, passed away Monday March 21, 2016. He was born April 8, 1930 in Mt. Vernon, AR to the late George Opie and Cordie Beene Keathley. He was a carpenter by trade and loved building homes and barns. One of his favorite pass times was working on his farm and tending to his cattle. He was a member of White Oak Church of Christ.
Also preceding him in death was one son Don Keathley and two sisters, Mary Freeman and Dorothy Baker.
He is survived by his wife, of 67 years, Faye Keathley; one daughter Jean Hipp and husband Kelly of Heber Springs; two grandsons, three granddaughters , three great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
Funeral Service will be Thursday, 1:00pm March 24, 2016, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier with Brother David Heffington officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Interment will be in Brown Cemetery in Enola.
Pallbearers are: Tom Barnett, Tommy Pierce, Louis Hodge, Gary Permenter, Kenny Jackson and Jerry Hodge. Honorary pallbearers are Aubrey Baker, Rod Ness and Mark Beene.
