Uncle Lee was an incredibly funny man. I fondly recall visiting Minnesota as a child, and can still quote his jokes verbatim, with much laughter! He was interesting and had many hobbies that he always took as far as he could, excelling at whatever he set his mind to. The thing that most impressed me about Lee was his kindness toward animals, even destructive wild creatures that he would gently trap and relocate, rather than harm. He'd try to help sick stray cats that wandered his way, always getting them the best of care with no expense spared. Under his jokes he was a very sensitive man, and I remember him buying us a new bed when my husband's mother passed, a kind gesture during a trying time, and a much needed item for us that we could not afford back then. A very successful man that will be missed. ~ Kim

I grew up with Lee. We played baseball together in the eastern mlnney league and we went in the army together. I have fond memories of our time together. May you rest in peace.
