Alex Lovell Jenkins III

of Twin Groves, AR

March 6, 1967 - September 8, 2015

Alex Lovell Jenkins III, 48, of Twin Groves went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 8, 2015. He was born March 6, 1967 in Flint, Michigan to Alex Jenkins Jr. and Sondra Kai Reese. At a young age he was adopted by Alex Jenkins Sr. and Ruthie Jenkins and came to live in Damascus or Twin Groves as we know it today. All who knew Alex closely knew him as ''Buster'' or ''Jack''.

Zion Grove was where he learned about the Lord and professed a belief early in life. He always had a smile and spirit that was one of a kind (loud). Some of his favorite memories come from living in the country; he always said Twin Groves was home. He loved the peace, the freedom and most of all the people in Damascus and let's not forget the love of the people from Guy, Arkansas. We still talk about our ''B'' School and how great it really was and especially our basketball days. We can still hear Stack in our sleep (smile).

He leaves to mourn a daughter, Alexis R. Jenkins ''Bookie''; a son, Alex L. Jenkins IV ''Lil Alex''; a sister, Dawn R. Bell ''Donnie''; an uncle, Carvis Jenkins, who was like our father; Queen Jenkins, who loved us as her own children; and many cousins, nieces, and special friends, way too many to list.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Zion Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Twin Groves, Arkansas with interment to follow at Zion Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00-8:00pm at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier.
