May 19, 1941 - May 31, 2015

Linda Leslie Chambers Brannon, 74, of Greenbrier, went to be with her Savior on Sunday, May 31, 2015. She was born May 19, 1941, in Little Rock, to the late Homer and Ila Chambers of Greenbrier. Linda was also preceded in death by her infant sister, Felsie Chambers.

Linda was an elementary school teacher for over 20 years before retiring to work alongside her husband. She was a charter member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Greenbrier. Linda was a Godly wife, mother, and grandmother who fervently prayed for her family each day. She enjoyed shopping, singing in the church choir, a good piece of pie and ice cream, and most of all, spending time with her family and celebrating their accomplishments.

Marc Burrows, Dennis Coast, Jordan Pearson, Dwayne Thomas, Payton Thomas, and Marshall Williams will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Gene Gambill, Jimmy Darrell Milam, Jurl Mitchell, Reid Rust, James Wallace, and Larry Williams.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 2, 2015, from 6pm to 8pm, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier. Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at Immanuel Baptist Church in Greenbrier, with Brother Tony Crocker, Brother Dwayne Thomas and Brother Freddie Mark Wilcox officiating. We are so sorry for your loss. Ms. Linda was a wonderful lady. I have many fun memories of growing up around Ms Linda and Mr Jim. I always enjoyed listening to the stories that our parents would tell of back in "old days" and of their friendship. We hope that the knowledge that she is at peace now is a source of comfort to the family. Our prayers are with you.
