Larry J. Cottrell passed away Sunday, April 26th, 2015 after a heroic battle with cancer.
Larry was born August 10, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio but was raised in and around Houston, Texas. He was the youngest son of Christopher Cottrell and Claretta (Black) Cottrell who both preceded him in death.
Larry was an amazing husband of 35 years to Donna (Chism) Cottrell- A wonderful father to son Joey Powell of Bryant, Arkansas, wife Tammy. Son Casey Cottrell of Wooster, Arkansas, wife Melissa, daughter Jaime (Cottrell) Cheney of Greenbrier, Arkansas, husband Jason. And the light of his existence, four beautiful grandchildren, Logan and Mia Cottrell, and Keegan and Zoey Cheney. Larry's siblings are Chris Cottrell, wife Shirley of Tuscalousa, Alabama. Robert Cottrell, deceased, wife Helen Burnett, Texas, Bill Cottrell, wife Diane of Denton, Texas, sister Louise Owens of Tomball, Texas, and Melba Cottrell of San Jose, California.
He was loved so much! We miss him like crazy, but all of his family knows we will see him again.
