Leota Jean Altom Blair, 83, passed away August 16, 2014, in Greenbrier, Arkansas. Leota was born August 14, 1931, in Floral Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 41 years, Bernard Alton Blair, her son, Jack Edward Blair, her parents Herschel Stanley Altom and Anna Imogene Dossett Altom, two brothers, Stanley Wayne Altom and Noel Dean Altom, and her sister Joetta Altom Beel.
Survivors include two daughters and one son, Laura Blair of New Zealand, Kathy (David) Felkins of Greenbrier, and Joe Blair of Greenbrier. She is also survived by one sister and one brother, Alfreda Frazier of Floral, and Ronald (Sharon) Altom of Independence, Missouri, nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Special thanks are extended to the caregivers and staff of the Greenbrier Nursing and Rehab Center in Greenbrier, and to the caregivers and staff of Arkansas Hospice.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 18, 2014 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier, with Bro. Jim Sanders officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, August 17 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at McNew Cemetery, Greenbrier. Serving as pallbearers will be Ryan Wilson, Tracy Mann, Dylan Oquin, Jeremy Oquin, Ricky Altom, and Chris Qualls.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Arkansas Hospice would be appreciated.
So very sorry for your loss. mrs. leota was a very special lady and will be missed by many.

Laura, Joe and Kathy and all other families, we are so sorry that your Mom has passed. I just seen you sharing a birthday with her, and I know that she will be missed so much by all of you, but she is not suffering and she enjoying reunions, beautiful flowers, streets of gold, no pain, no sorrow, and she's praising the Lord! What a glorious occasion. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. May God give you all the strength and comfort you need. Love you.
It was my great pleasure to get to take care of Mrs .Blair. she was a sweet lady.
