Tommy Stone

Tommy Stone, 79, of Greenbrier, passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2012. Born in Mt. Vernon, Arkansas on December 26, 1932, he was a son to the late Olen and Ollie Fulmer Stone. Mr. Stone was a Navy Veteran who served during the Korean Conflict. He obtained a degree in mathematics and physics from U.A.L.R. and was an engineer for Timex Corporation for 32 years. He was of the Baptist faith. Also preceding him in death were two sisters: Lucille Stone and Charlene Adkisson.

Survivors include his loving wife Barbara Jenkins Stone; sons: Dr. Michael Stone and wife Bev of Little Rock and Dr. Timothy Stone and wife Jean of Russellville; a brother, Bob Stone of San Antonio, TX and seven grandchildren.

Services will be held 10:00 am on Friday, June15, at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier with Dr. Ed. Simpson officiating. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, June 14, at the funeral Home.
