Mary Eva Sparkman
December 3, 1923 - June 7, 2012

Mary Eva Sparkman, 88, of Little Rock, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, June 7, 2012. She was born Monday, December 3, 1923 in Quitman, Arkansas to the late James F. Johnson and the late Mary Gertrude Bridges Johnson. She was an interior decorator, loved fishing, gardening, cooking, and taking care of her family. She was a member of Higdon Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, T.J. Sparkman; three brothers; and one sister.

She leaves to cherish her memory a son, James Sparkman and his wife Victoria; a daughter, Katherine Dunn and her companion, Rick Taylor all of Little Rock; sister, Fern Duncan of Quitman; brother, Neal Johnson of Greenbrier; granddaughters, Barbara Keith of Ft. Worth, TX and Tasha Tyree of Little Rock; three great-grandchildren, Chelsea Keith, Shelby Keith and Morgan Tyree; and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be 10:00am, Monday, June 11, 2012 in the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel in Greenbrier (501)679-2575, with Mr. Michael Harris officiating. Interment will follow in the Copperas Springs Cemetery in Guy. Visitation will be Sunday, June 10, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Bill Johnson, J.H. “Peanut” Johnson, Gary Adams, Ken Duncan, Malcom Pugh, and John Doll. Honorary pallbearer will be Rick Taylor.
