Bill Fiddler, 74 of Griffithville, Arkansas died Saturday, July 10, 2004 after a brief battle with cancer. He was born April 27, 1930 in Vilonia, Arkansas son of the late John Wesley and Leona Stocks Fiddler, he was preceded in death by his brother: Johnny Fiddler, and was a Christian of Baptist faith.

He is survived by wife: Maureen Purifoy Bailey Fiddler, by four sons: Bill J. Fiddler, Jr. and wife Linda of Tulsa, OK., Larry D. Fiddler and wife Debbie of Edmond, OK., Ronnie W. Fiddler and wife Rhonda of Ketchum, OK., and Robert Bailey of North Little Rock, AR., by three daughters: Sheryl Pollock and Husband Clayton of Jacksonville, AR., Phyllis Smith and husband David of Heber Springs, AR., and Kim Evans and husband John of Ft. Smith, AR., by 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

A heartfelt thanks and recognition to his special care givers from Central Arkansas Cancer Center, Dr. Jaued K. Shinubri, and staff of 3East at White County Medical Center.

Graveside services will be Tuesday 11:00 a.m., July 13, 2004 at Oakland Cemetery in Holland, Arkansas, officiated by Rev. Larry White. Visitation will be Monday 6-8 p.m. at Roller McNutt-Conway.
