Mary Frances Hazlewood

of Conway, AR

July 7, 1927 - October 2, 2018

Mary Frances Hazlewood, 91, of Conway, AR, went to be with the Lord October 2, 2018. She was born July 7, 1927 in Fort Worth, TX to the late John and Mamie (Mackey) Wallace. Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Charles Hazlewood, and brother, Raymond Wallace.

Mary retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company after 35 years of faithful service. She was a lifelong active member of Travis Avenue Baptist Church in Fort Worth, TX where she enjoyed singing in the choir at her church, painting props for their many performances and decorating for weddings and parties. She devoted her life to the Lord and her family. Mary was loved very much by her friends and family, who will dearly miss her great sense of humor. She was known for her fiery red hair and feisty attitude.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving family, daughter, Denise Murphy and husband Joe of Arkansas, daughter, Georgann Hazlewood of Florida; grandchildren, Shannon Murphy of Arkansas and Brianna McCraw and husband Tyler of Mississippi; brother, John Wallace of Texas, sister-in-law, Wanda Blake and husband Wade of Texas, sister-in-law, Bettye Wallace of Texas and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family has asked that instead of flowers, donations be made to Arkansas Alzheimer's National Headquarters, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601 in the name of Mary Hazlewood.

A graveside service will be held at Laurel Land Memorial Park, 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, Texas on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 10:00 AM.
