Pop enjoyed building houses with three generations of his family and Pop also loved his garden. Even after a long day of work, Pop would often be tending to his garden well past dusk. Pop started a produce shop and absolutely loved the stories and fellowship of his friends, neighbors, and customers over the years. Pop always had a joke and would bring a smile to anyone near. His smile and laugh will be thoroughly missed.
Visitation will be Monday, October 1, 2018, 12:00 noon to 1:00PM in the chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Funeral service will be at 1:00PM at the funeral home with Bro Mark Stripling officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Mountain Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Pine Mountain Cemetery. Please contact Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, AR for donation information.
What a beautiful man to have visited with each weekend in Maumelle. You will be greatly missed. Much love to the family.
Rodney was so sorry to hear of Pop’s passing. I loved stopping at his produce stand and shooting the bull with him.

Pop was one of a kind. His stories varied, as to how they started selling squash. I had the pleasure of working with Mrs. Hazel, she would always bring us some vegetables from the garden. They were a hard working family. From building houses to gardening She loved pop & pop loved her. There now together again! May you all find comfort in knowing there together again. Prayers for strength,. God Bless
Rodney
Didn’t know your Dad, but I sure he was a wonderful man to have raised such a kind son. My prayers are with you and your family
