of Greenwood, AR
February 21, 1931 - June 16, 2018
Joyce Graddy, 87, of Conway, AR, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, June 16, 2018. She was born February 21, 1931, in Conway, AR, to the late Marvin Anthony and LaVerne Anthony. Joyce was preceded in death by her beloved husband Bill. Joyce was a faithful member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Conway, until she was no longer able to attend. She worked as an administrative assistant, business owner, and a case manager. Joyce loved helping people and had a flair for decorating. She especially loved decorating for Christmas and the house full of family. She was an excellent calligrapher and had the most beautiful handwriting, which she credited to her sixth grade teacher, Harry Gatlin. Joyce was loved very much by her friends and family, who will dearly miss her quick smile and gift of verbosity.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving family, daughters, Suzy Davidson of Greenwood, AR; Shawn Dickensheets and husband David, of Conroe, TX, and her son Shane Graddy of Harrison, AR. She was so very proud of her 5 grandchildren, Dr. Kate Street and husband Brandon, Blake Davidson and wife Kristen, Megen Graddy, Eva Graddy, and Sam Dickensheets. She also has 5 great-grand children, Amelia Street, Rhythm Graddy, Sloane Street, June Davidson, and Callan Street.
Funeral service will be 10:00 am, Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Roller-McNutt Chapel in Conway.

We have fond memories of Joyce . She was such a welcoming and nice/sweet lady . She is missed !
I was fortunate to be able to meet Ms. Joyce. She always had a quick smile and a funny story. She was a blessing to encounter. Thank you Shane for making that happen for me. Blessing to your family.
Suzy, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your sweet Mom. Ms. Joyce was one of the kindest people I have ever met. I used to love to go by the store on Duncan Street and buy an ice cream sandwich after my daily trips in the Summer to the library. I know you have comfort knowing that she is in a much better place with your sweet Dad. God Bless you and all of your family.
