Sherman was the kindest & most sincere man we've ever known. We never remember ever seeing him sad or mad in the years we spent at Pleasant Grove. He was always positive & upbeat, a truly wonderful Christian man.

May the Lord comfort your family in your loss.

My sincere condolences to the family. I can remember when Helen and Sherman started dating back in our younger days. He was a good man then as he was throughout his life. May Our Lord Bless each of you! Helen's family and mine were neighbors even though our houses were about a half-mile apart during our early years.

Some people might "set standards" for the type of person who goes into their church - rather than the type who comes out of it. Sherman was exemplary in so very many ways. He will be missed by so many for years and years to come. It was an honor to know him, and to serve and worship beside him.

We will continue to support you in prayer until that glorious reunion we will have with him in the clouds when we meet the Lord in the air.

In Christ's love,
Ann & Ed

To my other family. I am so grateful to have known Mr. Sublett as I was growing up. His daughter, Janet, was my best friend in 2 different towns. He made me feel as if I was a member of the family and for that I am grateful. I understand the pain you are feeling, I felt when my dad died 44 years ago. Always remember the good stuff and let the rest go away. He is now with family and friends that went before and will be waiting on you guys when it is your time. Hugs, prayers and lots of love.
