It's been almost a year, Alan, I still find it almost impossible to say goodbye. You were truly special, and forever genuine with any and all. I miss you more than you know....
So sorry to hear of Allens passing. I had played music with him when we played with Jaybird, Butch and Kevin.I once gave him an old flat top guitar. You'd of thought I'd given him a 2000$ Gibson. I hadn't seen him in years, man he could sure play, and was a really good dude.My prayers go out to the family and the wife and kids.
I will think of you always Alan, Thank you for being a good friend and showing up to play when I needed a guitar player at a moments notice. with that goofy smile and pro stage musician that you are and the love for music no matter if it was rock or old country. I will see you on the other side some day and we will sing and play together again. Mr. Roy and family I pray that your hearts will not stay heavy with hurt and pain. God bless all of you. Eli Bowie

Do sorry for your loss! I still remember Boogie & the gang at Hazel's when Chris and I were kids :-) Good memories!
I've known and respected Alan for many years.
I cherish my memories with him.
He was a great friend and always showed lots of respect.
I last saw him one week before he passed. He usually tried to make it out to my Conway gigs.
I know that he has been through a lot in the past year or so.
I know that he is with our lord now and that he is at peace.
Prayers for his family and other friends!
I'll see you someday soon my friend!!
I know the hole in your heart is great and I am so sorry for your loss. But what a celebration Alan is experiencing right now! Please let God wrap His arms around you and give you the comfort you so desperately need! Love you guys!
Just so sorry for the family loss. I, like many, lost a friend very suddenly. Alan started coming to church after we moved to the old senior center. He was easy to relate with and I grew to love him, his smile, great nature. It is with a heavy heart to say goodbye. My deepest sympathy to his family.
Helen, Roy, and family,
