I Woke up thinking of Cheryl and found this after an internet search. In childhood my earliest memory was a drive to collect books crayons puzzles etc to keep her company when she had an extended bed rest illness, probably rheumatic fever. We also went to Linton together for our LPN training. I am sad she has passed away but happy to see she had children and grandchildren.
Joan and Families;
I am so sorry to learn about Cheryl. I have enjoyed her friendship for many years. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. May God Bless!
Peace and Love,
Judy
I’m really going to miss you’re smiling face. Cheryl thank for raising me to be the woman I am today. When we first meet twelve years ago I was this immature spoiled brat with a chip on my shoulder. You took me under your wings and nursed me the way a mother should. I remember the first time I called you mom, you just looked at me and smiled. From that day on you treated me like a daughter, even when I was in trouble with you. Lol you would tell me that you were getting down to me out of love and you knew I could do/be better than what I was doing. I thank God for sending you into my life, you were one of my greatest gifts. I will always love you mom. Thank you for being what I needed the most.
Our sincere condolences to the family. Thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
As a hospice social worker who had patients in heritage, I often asked Cheryl for assistance with one thing or another. She was always kind and willing to help. I am so sorry to hear of her death. Wishing peace and comfort to her family.
