Michael Zimmerman, 66, died November 23, 2017, with his family by his side at his home in Conway, Arkansas.
Michael was born April 15, 1951, in Conway to the late Carl and Henrietta Zimmerman. Michael was a graduate of St. Joseph High School, and worked for Virco Manufacturing Corporation for 46 years. He was a faithful member of Oak Bowery Baptist Church. He was an avid fisherman, often fishing from sunup until ''dark thirty'' each day.
Mr. Zimmerman is survived by his wife of 44 years, Margie Zimmerman; four daughters, Christi Russell (and husband Will), Keasha Montgomery (and husband Eric), Jessica Belote (and husband Michael), and Niki Zimmerman; seven grandchildren, Alex Belote, Ryan Belote, Fisher Russell, Maggie Russell, Tate Russell, Adam Montgomery, and soon-to-be-born Olivia Montgomery; and three sisters, Linda Zimmerman, Pat Bane (and husband Danny), and Vicki Rogers (and husband Jimmie); numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his sister Kathy Jones and brothers, Jimmy and Dennis Zimmerman.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 26, 2017, 2:00-4:00PM, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2:00PM, Monday, November 27, 2017 at Oak Bowery Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Oak Bowery Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Stanley Bradley, Toby Bane, Matt Gwin, Ben Zimmerman, Chase Zimmerman and Eric Montgomery. Honorary pallbearers will be the Men's Sunday School Class of Oak Bowery Baptist Church.
The family would like to especially thank Drs. Hudson, Lee, Moreno, Throneberry and all of their staff members for their care during his extended illness, as well as the staff at Arkansas Hospice for their loving care in the final weeks.

So sorry to hear about Michael's passing. He was a classmate of mine at St. Joseph School from first grade to graduation in 1969.
I remember him as a quite. gentle soul. God bless his family and may he rest in peace.
