Bobby Joe Haigwood, 79, of Conway, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 4, 2017. He was born March 27, 1938 in Harrisburg to the late Pearl V. and Sarah (Propes) Haigwood. Bobby was also preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Haigwood.
Bobby was employed as custodial worker at Spirit Homes for over 15 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially gardening and fishing. Bobby also liked to watch westerns on television. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Bobby is survived by two daughters, Nita Hill (Larry) and Tina Grogan (Scott) both of Conway, three grandchildren, David and Andrew Hill and Scott Grogan all of Conway, aunt, Ada Jennings, uncle, Bud Propes, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 7th at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Chaplain Ron Bird officiating. Burial will follow at Beryl Cemetery.
