Erma Dee Newman, 87, of Conway, Arkansas, passed away peacefully Saturday, June 17, 2017. She was born November 16, 1929 in Morganton to the late Grover and Uda Mauldin. Erma was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Jack Newman, 3 brothers and 4 sisters.

Erma was a dedicated homemaker to her husband and her four children. She enjoyed gardening, being with her friends and family, and the Dallas Cowboys. She was the matriarch of her family, who enjoyed hosting holidays and bringing everyone together in her home. Erma was beloved my many and will be missed by all of her loved ones.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving family, one sister: June Johnson of Bee Branch; one son: Gary Newman (Debra) of Arkadelphia; three daughters: Angie O'Keefe of Arizona, Dea Ann Green of Conway, and Connie Page (Bob) of South Carolina; six grandchildren: Brian Hay (Shannon), Hayden Newman, Aaron Newman, Heather Luchin (Keith), Melanie Garrett, and Josh Page; five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Open visitation will be Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Roller-McNutt in Conway from 10am to 12pm. Come and go as you please.

May God wrap his arms around all you during this very difficult time and in the coming days. I know it's very hard for us to lose our parents but we can rejoice knowing that he would give us eternal life with him if we accepted him as our Lord & Savior. Now Mr. & Mrs. Newman and are together again with their Lord & Savior my goodness what a sight that had to have been....
