Betty was my cousin. She was the closest thing to a sister that I had as a child growing up. Stories of some of the things that we did as kids that have been told over the years is interesting to say the least. The time we broke rotten on each other just before we were going someplace in our dress clothes...another was we caught baby chicks and put them in Mason jars pretending to can chickens. I believe an adult intervened and rescued the chicks. As children we had good times. Going to the farm in Arkansas to visit our grandparents was an adventure that left lifelong memories. Betty will be missed, but as long as we have our memories she will continue to live in our hearts. My love and sympathy goes out to her girls and their families.
Prayers for you girls...love you all!
We loved ya!
My deepest sympathy to the family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
