Chris John Zintel 79 of Holland Arkansas passed away on January 13th at McClellan VA Hospital. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and great great grandfather. He was born on 1/3/1938 to Anna and Harry Zintel of Nunda, New York.

He resided in New York until he joined the United States Air Force, which brought him to Arkansas. He served his country for four years and is a Korean War Veteran. In addition to his military service, Chris worked as a landscaping supervisor for 40 years and later became owner of his own CB Radio Business before retiring. Chris was an active member of the community of Holland, Arkansas, where he resided for the last 23 years with his wife and granddaughter Stephanie, who he raised as his own. He was a volunteer fireman for the Holland fire department, an Alderman for four years, and he served on the Keep Arkansas Beautiful commission as a representative for the Faulkner county chapter. Chris was a member of Oakland United Methodist church, and later became a member of the Naylor Methodist church in 2012.

Chris was a father to nine children, grandfather to eleven grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. Chris and his wife Wanda were together for 42 years.

Chris is preceded in death by his Infant sister Cheryl Zintel, his father, Harry Zintel, His mother, Anna Zintel, and his brother, Frances Zintel.

He is survived by his wife Wanda Sue Zintel, his brothers Billy Zintel(Sylvia) , Harry Zintel(Debbie), his sisters Margaret(Bill), Donna, his sons John Zintel, Mark Zintel (Rebecca), Jimmy Dale McElroy, (Theresa) Jeffrey Keathley(Cecelia), his daughters Maryann Kifer, Florence McLean(Rod), Stacy Keathley Misenheimer(Jimmy), Carolyn Keathley Rogers(Jeff), and Stephanie Moore(Kyle) His Grandchildren, Chris Zintel(kelly), Larry Zintel(Jennifer), Harry Zintel, Tony Kifer, May Kifer, Anthony Zintel, Crystal Zintel, Cody McElroy, Kaylee Sue Keathley, and Grayson Roy Rogers, as well as many great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
He is also survived by his beloved pets; three dogs, three cats, and one bird.

Pallbearers: Chris Zintel, Larry Zintel, Tony Kifer, D J Walker, Anthony Zintel, Michael Kifer, and Harry Zintel.
Honorary Pallbearers: Charles Berry and Willard Farley.

Funeral Service will be 1:00pm Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Naylor Methodist Church.

Dear Sue and family,
I recently learned that Chris passed. I'm so sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed talking to him when he would see me and my husband Ed working on the property we bought next door to you, now owned by the Christopher family. Chris kept his eye on our property when we weren't there.
