Frances Nabholz

November 24, 2015

Frances Nabholz, 85, of Conway died Tuesday, November, 24, 2015. She was born in Conway on January 28, 1930, to Fred and Teresa Rumker Halter. Mrs. Nabholz was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Christian Ladies Society and a homemaker.

Mrs. Nabholz was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Bernard Nabholz; parents; two brothers, James Halter, and Lawrence Halter; three sisters, Louise Halter Kuettel, Anna Mae Halter, and Teresa Marie Breeding.
Survivors include two sons, Raymond Nabholz (Laura) and Joe Nabholz (Debi) all of Conway; six daughters, Mary Ann Stone (Robert), Dorothy Taylor (Randy), Carolyn Hinson (Don), Rosie Elsinger (Gerald), and Judy Bass (Kevin), all of Conway, Margie Enderlin (Ray) of Russellville; 25 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Nabholz is survived by three brothers, Anthony Halter of Conway, Ferdinand Halter of Morrilton, and Elmer Halter of Waco, TX.; three sisters, Mary Schrekenhofer of Conway, Mildred Chichlowski of Whitman, MA., and Agnes Blaylock of Hot Springs, AR.

Mrs. Nabholz was best known for her kind generous heart and welcoming spirit. She was friendly and outgoing to all, easily making friends wherever she went. She was a devoted mother who spent most of her time teaching her children to love one another and to put God first in their lives. She will always be remembered as the Rosary Lady because of all the rosaries she made for the missions. We will miss her good cooking, bread making and her ability to keep things in running order since that was her specialty. She was loved by her family and will be greatly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00am, Monday, November 30, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Conway with Father John Marconi officiating. Rosary will be at 7:00pm with a visitation to follow, Sunday, November 29, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Conway.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the St. Joseph Endowment Fund, P.O. Box 72, Conway, AR. 72032.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Clay Nabholz, Travis Stone, Brad Taylor, Jonathan Hinson, Joseph Hinson, Alex Enderlin, Caleb Elsinger, and Zac Bass.

Weekly adoration for 20 years with Frances made us dear friends. I will miss her singing, happy spirit, humor, and loving ways. However, I did talk her into making singing tapes for me and her family. Thank you Lord !

Aunt Frances was a loving woman who gave so much of herself to others. I will always remember family gatherings at her home when I was little, allowing me the use of her couch a few times when I was ill when my parents were working and how much she helped when my sisters, brother and myself were married. She gave so much and though I have seen her so little in my lifetime, I have always admired her for so much, especially her love for family and everyone she came into contact with. I pray God give comfort and peace to all who loved her and rejoice that she is home.
