Norma Jean Brister, 90, of Conway, went to be with the Lord Saturday March 21st 2015. She was born March 15th 1925 in Eufaula, OK, to the late Jack and Thelma Rea Reed. Norma was also preceded in death by her Husband of 51 years W.H. Brister and five brothers.

Norma was a member of Oak Bowery Baptist Church. She was employed at several nursing homes and a school as a cook. She was a loving mother who enjoyed cooking and reading.

Norma is survived by two sons Jack and Royce Brister of Conway, AR. Brothers Jim Reed (Bunny) of China Lake, CA, Bob Reed (Bertha) of Montana, and Danny Reed (Pat) of Tehachapi, CA. Two Sisters, Sue Wilkens and Shirley Frick (Ron) of Tehachapi, CA. Granddaughters Tammy Harrison (Greg) of Russelville, AR, Vickie Chastain (Shon) of Little Rock, AR, and Cindy Freeman (Daniel) of Vilonia, AR. Norma had eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

A graveside service will be held 2:00p.m. Friday, March 27th at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Russellville, with Pastor Benjamin Coney and Jim Reed officiating.
