Helen Marie McMillen, 89 of Conway died Wednesday, September 10, 2014. She was born June 5, 1925 in Morrilton, Arkansas to the late Frank and Margaret Streit Gunderman. She is also preceded in death by her husband, S.C. McMillen. Helen was a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church, Christian Ladies Society and retired after over 30 years with the shoe factory.
Survivors include her daughter: Patricia Battles and husband Dr. Bruce, grandson: Stefan Chiolak Battles, sister: Clara Marie Gangluff, brothers: Andrew ''Butch'' Gunderman and wife Barbara; Raymond Gunderman, caregiver: Linda Zook and many other family and friends.
Visitation will be held 6:00 PM Friday, September 12, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rosary to begin at 7:00 PM.
Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM Saturday, September 13, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with interment to follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
Family requests memorials to be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church.

So sorry for your loss. Helen was such a sweet lady and I knew her for many years, mostly in our younger years when some of us worked at International Shoe Co. many years ago.

I am so sorry for you loss.God bless the family. Helen was such a sweet lady. I had an enjoyable bus trip with Helen and SC to Disneyworld in the late eighties. We had such a good time.

My dear Pat and family: Those we hold most dear live in our hearts forever. Know your wrapped in our thoughts and prays. I am so thankful for our visit last October. I have fond memories of Aunt Helen when I was growing up.
