I truly believe David was Jesus walking among us observing our reaction as Christians. He always had a kind word, a friendly greeting, was never in a hurry to finish a conversation or end fellowship. Alhough he had his own physical ailments, he attended 2 church services on many Sundays, walked the long aisle to the altar for communion rather than having it brought to him, visited hospitalized friends & possessed a caring soul that is now resting with his Kord. We will miss you but will rejoice when we all join you in Heaven.

Dear Mary Kay, May our Lord and Savior be your comfort and peace at this time. We will miss seeing David Sunday after Sunday. We hope it is a comfort for you to know that he has now joined all those who have gone before us, enjoying the presence of our Lord, with no more pain, no canes, no more of the physical limitations this life can bring. We, too, look forward to the day we will see him there. May you feel the loving arms of Jesus around you; in His love, Pat and Mary

Mary Kay, We know that David is now with Jesus and joyful there as he was here. What a special person he was. We treasured his frienship for so many years here at Peace. May Jesus be close to you and give you His comfort and peace. Love in our Savior &Lord

Hold Thou Thy cross before my closing eyes;
Shine through the gloom, and point me to the skies.
Heav'n's morning breaks, and earth's vain shadows flee;
In life, in death, O Lord abide with me.

We will all miss you dear brother. We will miss seeing you come down the aisle to take your selected seat and hear your comments ... oh what pleasure it was to both see and hear you praise your Heavenly Father... to know you are now with Him... brings such peace.

A special blessing and prayer of peace to Mary Kay in these coming days without your loving David.

David I'll miss you. I know we never did get to go camping although we tried. I am sure we will lay down in green pasture in haven together and go fishing there. I am glad I got to take the time to walk with you and we had time to talk Sunday. My fellow soldier in Christ, Stand firm at the gates, see you soon my fiend. With everlasting love, forever your friends
