Richard Lee Oglesby, 67, of Conway, formerly of Lafayette, IN passed from this life on Sunday, October 20, 2013. He was a Vietnam Army Veteran and a maintenance mechanic at Purdue University for twenty years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cecilia Jane; a sister, Maryann Phillips (John); a brother, Gary Oglesby; daughters, Katie Cook (Tom) and Christy Stephany (James), son: Alvus Oglesby (Terry) step-daughter, Jennifer Vandervate (Terrance); step-sons, William Hayenga, III and Joshua Hayenga ; numerous grandchildren; one great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation arrangements are by Roller McNutt Funeral Home of Conway, 501-327-7727.
A Memorial service is planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a branch of the American Legion, Forty & Eight Voiture # 364, 1421 North Creasy Lane, Lafayette, IN 47905.
