Lonnie Ellison, 72, of Conway, went to be with the Lord on August 18, 2012. He was the son of the late J.D. And Zelma Ellison of Colbert, OK. Lonnie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother who valued family above all. He also served as an ordained Deacon, was an avid razorback fan, and worked as a sales represenative during his life.
He is survived by his loving wife Elmarie of 52 years; one son, Lance Ellison of Conway; four daughters, Lana Ellison (David Richard), Laurie (Britt) Joyner, Jennifer Ellison,all of Conway and Dana Ellison of Centerton; four grandchildren, Brittney (Jarome) Guthrie, Blythe Joyner, Blane Joyner, Ashland Ellison; three great-grandchildren, Kinley Joyner, Khloe Joyner, Karlee Guthrie; one sister, Linda (Billy) Carter; one brother, Larry (Carolyn) Ellison; nieces, Kelly Carter, Kerri Hayes, and Karen Gooding.
A Memorial Service will be held in his honor on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at the Roller-McNutt Funeral in Conway, AR at 10:30 am with visitation one half hour prior to the service from 10-10:30am. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Roller-McNutt Funeral Home.
