Mr. Udell Harris Hill   I am a Veteran.
March 7, 1920 - June 17, 2012

Udell H. Hill, 92, of Humboldt, Tennessee, died June 17, 2012. He was born March 7, 1920, in Quitman, Arkansas, to the late Homer and Thelma (Swaffar) Hill. Udell was a World War II Veteran, having served in the Army. He was a truck driver; he enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, woodworking, traveling and being retired, for 35 years. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Ada (Ussery) Hill and a half brother, Norman Phillips.

Udell is survived by one daughter, Judy Hill Huffman (D.C.) of Oakland, Tennessee; two brothers, W.E. Hill (Kathryn Campbell Hill) of Winton, California and George A. Hill (Sissy Bell Hill) of Searcy, Arkansas; one sister, Lureta Hill Yingling (Bob) of Conway, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Kim Huffman Smith (Martin) and Keith Huffman, both of Jackson, Tennessee; and one great granddaughter, Angel Huffman of Oakland, Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to noon Thursday, June 21, 2012, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, in Conway. Graveside services will follow the visitation at 1:30 p.m., at Old Texas Cemetery, in Guy, Arkansas, with D.C. Huffman officiating.
