On Friday, May 4, 2012, David Conway Rawlings of Benton, Arkansas, our beloved husband, daddy, son, brother, uncle and friend made his journey to be with our Almighty Father and Savior. We will remember a wonderful man with a heart for helping everyone he met. David is preceded in death by his father, Conway Rawlings.

He is survived by his wife, Shana Rawlings; daughter, Hanna Rawlings, the apple of his eye; mother, Koleta Rawlings; mother-in-law, Elfrida Hayes; sisters, Ann Johnson (Keith), Karen Champagne, Tahnya Hayes; nephews and nieces, Shane Waller, Ryan Waller (Amanda), Chris Johnson (Dawn), Heather Jewell (Barry), Lindsay Waller, Lauren Silas (Aaron), Sydnay Waller, Ashton Waller, Lola Jewell, Sloan Waller; special family members, Alissa Clark (Jerry), Albert Tillery, Inge Tillery, Sue Richardson; and a host of special family and friends, especially the First Electric Linemen. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff of Arkansas Heart Hospital and the first responders for their compassion and care.

Arrangements for cremation are being handled by Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Conway (501)327-7727. A celebration of David's life will be held Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 5:30pm at the farm, Pastor Doug Pruitt will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to any Metropolitan National Bank in memory of David C. Rawlings.
