Nancey,
I was iformed by Jim Brown (via Glenn Montegomery) about Allan's passing. I have informed others who knew Allan and we are all shocked. You and your children have our prayers during this time. He was a special person that was well liked and respected by all that knew him at Western E;ectric/Lucent. He was a member of our team at the plant and will be missed by all that knew him. If there is anything any of us can do please let us know. May God bless you all.

Dear Nancy and family,
"When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure."
I am very saddened to hear of Alan's passing . I played golf with Alan - PBHS and Rosswood C.C. Over the years I had tried to keep up with him by looking at golf tournament results to see if he had played. Then I watched the Junior golf results while the younger Alan played and became an accomplished golfer of his own.
Nancy, I am so sorry to hear about Alan. Cancer is an ugly disease and it takes our precious loved ones, but not our memories. Please know that you and your family are in my prayers. Margaret Anna Atchley Matherne

Dear Nancy, Valerie and Jason,
I am so sorry to hear of Alan's passing. I have been thinking and keeping you and your family in my prayers. One of my favorite memory of Alan was when the girls were trying out of pom-pon freshman year and all the furniture was moved from you living room so the girls could practice. Alan came in and started to dance with them.
Thinking of you,
Barb

Nancy, from all of us here in Florida, our prayers and love have been with you daily. I know that this is a very difficult time for you and your children, and please know that my heart is always be for you and your family and although I could not been there for you, our church put your family on our list of prayers that you would find the strenght in knowing that God will be by your side each step of the way. Healing is there for you. Hold your children and grand-daughter close as they will need you in the months to come. Peace will not come easy but Alan is in a place where there is no pain and although Jason and Valeria will be very sad for a long time, he loved all three of you so much and as time goes on, those good wonderful memories will stay in your heart forever and you will be able to continue to share those memories with your very precious grand-daughter.
With so much love
Judy
