Daniel (Dink) Floyd Bane, 82, of N. Little Rock, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2009. He was born June 5, 1927 in Bee Branch to the late James A. Bane and Ella Reeves Bane. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorene Bruich Bane; brothers, Dolen, Orville, Marvin, Carl, Jasper; sister, Edna and grandson, Todd Bane. He was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church at Marche, where he participated in the Cursillo Movement and RCIA for several years and was a member of the Rosary Solidarity, veteran of World War II serving in the Merchant Marines and was the former owner of Bane Heating and Air. He is survived by three sons, Danny Bane, (Pat), Kenny Bane, (Angie), Rick Bane, (Lauri) all of Conway; daughter, Barbara Bane of Marche; grandchildren, Stanley Bradley, Jason Bane, Toby Bane, Nicole Staup, Tracy Bane, Jeffrey Bane, Alec Edmonds, Brianna Bolin; great grandchildren, Taylor Bane and Jaden Bane; sisters, Ruby Henderson and Ruth Howell both of Conway. Mass of the Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Monday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Marche with Rev. Robert T. Dienert as Celebrant. Burial will be in Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery. Rosary will be 6:00 PM Sunday with visitation to follow at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway (501) 327-7727. Pallbearers are Eddie Leece, Ralph Havens, Charles Bane, Tim Costello, Bill Robertson, Jimmy Bradley, Jim Harper, Quentin Bane. Honorary pallbearer is Randy Crossland.
