Mary Evelyn Clark, 57 of Lamar, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2016 in Clarksville. She was born September 1, 1959 in Savannah, Georgia to Mr. Harold and Elizabeth (Youmens) Kicklighter. Evelyn enjoyed going for jeep rides, she loved her animals, and truly loved spending time with her daughter and friends. Mrs. Clark is preceded in death by her father, and one brother, James Kicklighter.
Mrs. Clark is survived by her husband, James Clark; one daughter, Angel Clark of Lamar; one sister, Debbie and Andy May of Clarksville; her mother, Elizabeth Kicklighter of Clarksville; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Memorial service will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, October 13, 2016 at the Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel.

I only knew Evelyn for a very short time, but she was a good friend. We were staying at the Scottish Inn in Springdale, Arkansas at the same time. My son Dylan and her daughter Angel would play in the pool together. I was sad when I looked her up and found she had passed. Prayers to her family.
