Bo Hunter Hostetler

of Clarksville, AR

July 17, 2015 - May 3, 2016

Bo Hunter Hostetler, precious baby son of Brett and Shanda Hostetler of Clarksville, AR., was welcomed into our family on July 17, 2015, at Johnson Regional Medical Center in Clarksville, AR. He peacefully passed away from liver complications, in his Mother's arms, with Dad by her side, at Lucille Packard Children's Hospital in Palo Alto, CA. on May 3, 2016 at 9:31 pm at the age of 9 months and 16 days.

He leaves to mourn besides his parents, on sister, Brianne Jo (2), grandparents, Lonnie and Charlene Hostetler of Tampico, IL., Darrel and Mary Hostetler, of Buffalo, MO., great-grandparents, John and Ellen Martin of Tampico, IL., Les and Bert Hostetler, Tampico, IL., Fred and Rhonda Eigsti, of Buffalo, MO., and Mrs. (Tim) Betty Hostetler of Buffalo, MO., 7 uncles, 4 aunts, and 13 cousins.

We were blessed to have Bo with us for 9 ½ months. At 3 days old he was flown to Little Rock Children's Hospital, where he spent 2 ½ months until he was able to come home. He was at home for the next 4 months and in good health. The last 3 ½ months of his life he was in and out of the hospital and was a brave little fighter through all his pain and sickness. On April 13 he was flown to St. Louis Children's hospital, and then on April 30th, he was flown with Mom and Dad to Palo Alto, CA. to be evaluated for a liver transplant.

He is greeted in heaven by one grand grandpa, Rosie Grandpa, one Aunt Sandy, and one cousin, Adrian.

Bo left his footprints on our hearts and he will be missed by all. He was a lil sunshine in our home and smiled easily when he was feeling good. Although we weep we rejoice that his little body is free from tubes, wires, and needles, and that Jesus has healed his infirmities eternally.

Visitation will be 6:00 8:00 P.M., Saturday, May 7, 2016 at the Harmony Amish Mennonite Church. Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M., Sunday, May 8, 2016 at the Clarksville Church of Christ; burial will follow at the Harmony Amish Mennonite Church Cemetery.
