Mr. Larry Dean Gentry, 62, of Clarksville, passed away Friday, July 24, 2015 in Clarksville. He was born May 4, 1953, Holland, MO, to Chancel and Zillah (Graham) Gentry. Mr. Larry's passions were bow hunting, fishing, and being a vivid story teller. He was a hard worker and enjoyed running the bait shop at the marina. Larry was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Patricia Baugus, Mary Sue Sprouse; brothers, Franklyn, Bob, Jack and Dickie Gentry. He is survived by his wife, Janie (Oliger) Gentry of Clarksville, daughter, Regina and Erick Olson of Clarksville, son, J.C. Gentry and Ashleigh of Ozark; brothers, Danny and Martha of Malden, MO and Freddy and Letra Gentry of Kennett, MO; grandchildren, Zack, Nate and Chase Olson; close family friend, Matthan Veanes and Larry's very special friends at the Marina; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and a host of friends throughout the community. A Memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, July 31, 2015, at the Roller-Cox Chapel with Bro. Larry Farris officiating.

We are so sorry of the passing of Larry, but know he is so much better off now.
He was a great man, father, husband and friend to us all.
We both are blessed to have known Larry and to have had the friendship over the years with he and Janie.
He will truly be missed.

So sorry for the loss. I'm grateful that we got to visit with Larry on the 4th of July weekend. Derrick and I send our love and we are thinking about yall.
