Ruby Lucille (Sapp) Galentine, 86, of Lamar died Saturday, March 24, 2012 at her home. Born Friday, July 31, 1925 in Johnson County, Arkansas to William Edgar and Mary (Doke) Sapp; she was a member the Strawberry Assembly of God; worked for nine years for the Quick Service Laundry in Clarksville and nine years for Morton's Frozen Foods in Russellville.
Survivors include two daughters: Gladys Faye (James) Freeman, Lamar and Ruby Jewell (Larry) Skinner, Maumelle; 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and 16 great-great-grandchildren; sister: Gwin Scott, Hagarville; sister-in-law: Clara Leivsay, Russellville; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents: Ralph Hillard Galentine, husband; William Ralph Galentine, son; Loleta Daniel, sister.
Pallbearers will be Ben Holland, Ralph Freeman, Jeff Freeman, Terry McDaniel, Perry Sing, and Josh Holland. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Monday. Reverends Robbie Willis and Larry Skinner will conduct funeral services at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home, Clarksville, AR.
Services are under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home, Clarksvile, AR.
We are so sad to hear of her death! I don't ever remember not knowing her and Hillard. They were always a part of our friends and devoted messengers for Jesus Christ! Love and many blessings for all the family.
