L. D. Holland, 79, of Hartman, died Saturday, March 24, 2012 at Johnson Regional Medical Center in Clarksville. Born Thursday, September 22, 1932 in Pettigrew, AR to Delmer and Dollie (Coon) Holland he was an Army Veteran, a mechanic and farmer.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years: Eurena (Blaylock) Holland of the home; 2 daughters: Carol Ann Holland (Bruce) Foster and Gayla Holland Maxwell both of Hartman, AR; 3 brothers: Opal (Georgeana) Holland, Hopkinsville, KY; Vivian ''Mouse'' Holland, Clarksville, AR; and Lonnie (Mary) Holland, Hagarville, AR; sister: Genieve Holland Melson, Clarksville, AR; 5 grandchildren: Brandy and Kevin Sparks, Lamar, AR; Lacey and Lea Foster, Hunt, AR; Ryan Holland Maxwell, Hunt, AR; Karrissa Maxwell and John Richardson, Hartman, AR; and Serenity Rain Maxwell, Hunt, AR; 6 great-grandchildren: Shian Sparks, Adden Richardson, Kadden Richardson, Chance Foster, Brooke Stain, and Chris Stain.
Pallbearers will be Robert Lightner, Thurman Ritchie, Larry Huff, Harley Parker, Don Davidson, Dennis Pledger, Joe Hoing, and Ryan Maxwell. Honorary pallbearers will be Rosalie Davenport, Lyn Day, Glen Drum, Howard Holmes, Dallas Davenport, Vernon Hostetler, Don Garrett, and Dean Edwards.
Visitation will be 6-8 Sunday at Roller-Cox Funeral Home. Reverend Leo Villians and Steve Holland will conduct graveside services at 10:00 AM, Monday, March, 26, 2012 at Oark Cemetery with burial following. Services are under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home, Clarksville, AR
