My dear family, how my heart hurts for you as you say goodbye to our precious Betty. She was such a joy to know in this life and enriched the lives of all who knew her. I am so very honored to be her great-niece. Her joy, love for Jesus, love for family, smile, and beautiful singing voice was a gift to us all. May God send you all comfort and peace during this time. Don, thank you for being the man she deserved to have in her life full of love for her every day. Denise, Cheryl, and Toni (and spouses), she loved you so very much. Thank you for making her years, but last years especially, ones full of love and laughter. All the grandchildren thank you for the smiles you put on her face and the joy you brought to her heart. Aunt Betty leaves a legacy of love in family and of God. What a joyous reunion we will all have one day. In God's time just a few minutes. What joy she is experiencing now seeing her loved ones and Jesus. May we all be as blessed with life and love as she was. Love you all.

I cant't find the words to express the love I have for my mom.

Over the past year we have tried to be there for mom and Don as she grew weaker and then gain strength, and then have another set back. They are both such fighters!

I feel so honored to have her as my mother. The thing I admire most is her desire to be a soul-winner! Just the day before she passed she was concerned about other's souls.

She had a desire to be used of the Lord. In many ways she was a vessel of His. She loved helping in Children's Church, teaching at the Christian School, working in the bus ministry,
cooking for camp meetings, serving as Church Secretary, and singing .

Today as I fixed her hair and makeup for the last time I thought of her in Heaven. She had quite a welcoming party to greet her. I know she is so happy to be home.

Heaven just grew a little sweeter as she crossed through the gates of Heaven.
The hole left in my heart takes my breath away.
Can't wait to see her again!
We will miss her greatly.

I miss you so much mama. I know you are with the Lord singing with the angels and praising HIM. You are no longer suffering and are whole again. I'm so proud to be your daughter. The hours of tears are slowly turning into wonderful memories. The Grace of God will get us thru this, now and the days to come. I will meet you in heaven one day and we can sing together. We will take care of each other and Don too. I know you are watching over us from he a heaven. I love you Mother. Rest in peace.
